This was the first assignment we received. It consisted of researching key technologies that were paramount to our learning and to our understanding of the course we were about to embark on.
The assignment also proved to be an important lessons in my understanding and my abilities to follow instructions as required.
Because of these factors I referred on this assignment. It came as quite a shock because I thought I had followed the instructions to the line. It was only after I received feedback and was shown my mistakes that I became aware of them.
Never-the-less, it was an critical moment in my learning and proved to be an important assignment that enabled me to use my experiences to ensure that this could not happen in future assignments.
Thoughts
Receiving the referral didn’t come as a shock as knew I had made a mess of presenting the information on the CD that was required.
What was a shock was the amount of other things I had done wrong or simply not addressed.
I felt quite stupid when I was told and a little embarrassed that I was unable to follow instruction.
