About
A Short History
Coming from a long line in teaching I’ve decided to break the chain in this tradition – for now.
After a working in a Primary School for four years and little traveling around south America I came back to a dead end job with no ambitions to purse the line of work I was in any further.
I’m sure a great person once said that it’s better to be at the bottom of a ladder you want to climb than half way up one you don’t.
I’ve been fortunate enough to always have a computer of some description in my life. From an Atari 2600 at three-ish, a BBC Model Masters from age five-ish to an Amiga 1200 in my early teens and a PC when the internet came into bloom.
Not knowing what to purse as a career I decided to enroll in a course that appealed to both my intellect and creativity and would always challenge me in my line of work.
Enter a course at Wakefield College, HND Interactive Media (now known as FdA Web Design).
I was lucky enough to gain a place on this course, starting on HNC but realising that this was the course for me and successfully upgrading my position to a HND.
Now, two years later, I am almost qualified to enter the world of web design and to start my professional education as well as designing what will hopefully be an archive of well produced web sites.
